Francine writes, performs and teaches. She is the recipient of a Fulbright to study theater in Paris, and several Vermont Studio Center residency grants for writers, among other awards. She earned her MFA from Warren Wilson College. She is a member of the Rabble Writer’s Collective.
As a performance artist she has written, produced, and toured multimedia collaborative productions in English, and is one of the founding members of the French/Franco-American theatre company, Le Théâtre de la Chandelle Verte, which toured plays in French to venues nationwide.
She has a full-length collection of poems, What Sweetness from Salt (Finishing Line Press), and a chapbook, How Dumb the Stars (Parallel Press), as well as individual stories and poems.
